Executive Vice-President & Group Treasurer

As Executive Vice-President & Group Treasurer, Jeff Heath is responsible for managing the Scotiabank Group's treasury and investment operations on a global basis, including the Bank's public and private investment portfolios, medium-term and capital funding, and overall asset and liability management.

Jeff joined McLeod Young Weir in 1985 (which was subsequently purchased by Scotiabank and renamed ScotiaMcLeod) as Vice-President & Treasurer. He was appointed Director, Senior Vice-President & Treasurer in 1987.

Jeff joined Scotiabank in 1995 as Senior Vice President, Risk Management and Control. He was appointed to his present position in March 2008.

Jeff has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Accountant. Jeff and his wife, Sue, have four children.
