All Scotiabank branches will be closed on May 19th, 2008 in observance of the Victoria Day holiday, however our servers will remain on-line as usual. Instructions are provided below regarding the following products:
ScotiaConnect for Windows / ScotiaConnect Online / Electronic Daily Statement
ScotiaConnect customers will not be able to initiate transfers between accounts on that day. Transactions are not posted during a bank holiday, therefore the previous day account balance will apply.
There will be no Electronic Daily Statement (EDS) files generated on Monday May 19th, 2008. EDS customers with a 6:00 am or 7:30 am ET time slot will be able to obtain their balance and transaction files for Friday May 16th, 2008 on Saturday may 17th, 2008. All other EDS users will receive their files on the next business day (Tuesday May 20th 2008). Regular processing will resume on Tuesday May 20th, 2008.

ScotiaConnect Online Wire Payment
Wire payments with an execution date of Monday, May 19th, 2008 will be processed the next business day, Tuesday May 20th, 2008.
The New York Agency office will be open on May 19th, 2008. U.S. dollar payments sent in advance with a value date of May 19th, 2008 can be executed to Banks within the U.S.A. only for customers who maintain U.S. dollar accounts with our offices in the U.S.A.

ScotiaConnect Online EFT
Transactions with a due date of May 19th, 2008 must be input and processed prior to the 2:15 pm Eastern Time cut-off in accordance with the ‘Latest Input Date’ noted in the chart below.
