Cavalcade of Lights

Every Saturday night November 24 - December 31, 2007.

Nathan Phillips Square

This year, under the direction of Canadian designer Brian Gluckstein, the theme of Nathan Phillips Square’s Lighting Display is “Enchanted Holiday”-- celebrating peace and goodwill for all cultures.

Every evening in December more than 300,0000 dazzling LED will shine around the spectacular official city Christmas tree. This tree, sponsored by The Bay, will glitter at 57-feet high and was also decorated by Brian Gluckstein in partnership with The Bay, using the GlucksteinHome collection of ornaments designed exclusively for the Bay. The theme for the tree is “Sparkling” and will be lighted with various shades of white, green, silver and woven with crimson ribbon.

The fireworks, free concerts and skating parties continue Saturday nights in December at 7:00 p.m. featuring:

December 1: Tomi Swick with opening act Suzie McNeil
December 8: Jully Black with opening act Hayley Sales
December 15: The Golden Dogs with opening act In-Flight Safety
