About the Scotia Selected Portfolios
The asset allocation of each portfolio is professionally designed based on model portfolios created by our investment experts. These model portfolios are designed in the same way as many pension funds and private portfolios. Each portfolio includes investment in three of the major asset classes: fixed income, Canadian equities and foreign equities. This ensures the portfolios are always diversified, which is a key factor in minimizing volatility and risk.
The portfolios represent different investment goals, returns and exposure to risk. Therefore, the portfolio that is suitable for you will depend on your objectives and tolerance for risk. Use the Scotia Investment Selector® tool to determine your specific investment goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
Each of the Scotia Selected Portfolios takes advantage of the talents of many of our portfolio managers by investing in a variety of ScotiaFunds.
