Scotiabank and the AIDS Walk for Life are coming together for the 2008 Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life to be held in communities across Canada September 14-21.

The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life is Canada's largest annual event, raising funds and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

In 2007, over 50 communities participated in the Walk raising close to $2 million for community based AIDS Service Organizations.

All funds raised in a community go back to that community and offer direct services to those people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

A partnership project of the Canadian AIDS Society, the AIDS Committee of Toronto and the British Columbia Persons with AIDS Society, the Walk for Life has raised close to $28 million dollars since 1996.
