We also support our employees as ambassadors in their local communities through two programs, available to staff members of the Scotiabank Group only. Those staff/pensioners who volunteer their time to local initiatives can apply for up to CDN$1,000 in funding to support their community organizations. Using a team approach, we also match funds raised by two or more Scotiabankers on behalf of non-profit organizations up to a maximum of CDN$5,000. Initiatives funded through these two employee programs must originate at the staff level and are not open to submissions from charities or not-for-profit community groups.
