World Pond Hockey Championship
Scotiabank is proud to sponsor the coolest game on ice. Originating in Plaster Rock, NB, this event has grown to feature 120 teams from around the world. The World Pond Hockey Championships take place over four days in February and attract thousands of spectators and media from around the globe. All skill levels are welcome, find out more and be a part of the action.

Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal
Support a great cause and run in the Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal, an international caliber half-marathon and associated 5 km race. The race is part of the Canadian Half Marathon Championships and encourages fundraising for charities as part of the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge, which works to support local communities in Quebec and across the country. Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer's
Scotiabank is proud to be the title sponsor of Canada's largest annual fundraiser for Alzheimer's. This fifth annual pro-am hockey tournament provides needed funding for caretaking and research in the battle against Alzheimer's. The event has an exclusive Draft Night extravaganza and then allows hockey enthusiasts of any skill level to team up with their NHL Alumni heroes on the ice.

CONTACT Toronto Photography Festival & The Scotiabank Scholarship
The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is an annual month long celebration of contemporary photography with over 1000 local, national and international artists at more than 200 venues across the Greater Toronto Area in May. As the largest photography event in the world, and a premiere cultural event in Toronto, Scotiabank CONTACT stimulates excitement and discussion among a diverse audience that has grown to over 1.5 million. Scotiabank is the sponsor of the Scotiabank Scholarship offered to photography students participating in the Magnum Photos workshop.

Scotiabank Blue Nose International Marathon
The Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon and race weekend is the largest running event in Eastern Canada. Offering something for runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels, the three day event includes six unique race categories along a scenic route through downtown Halifax. This year, take part in the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge and support a variety of Atlantic Canada based community groups and charities.

Scotiabank Calgary Marathon
Calgary is home to Canada's oldest marathon and premier running event - the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon. This event is both challenging and competitive with a race designed for participants of all fitness levels and abilities including a full marathon, half-marathon, 10K, 4 x 10K corporate challenge, 5K family walk/run and a kids' marathon. The Calgary Marathon was voted the Best Road Race in Alberta by participants in 2009 and is an AIMS certified course and a Boston Marathon Qualifier. Run for the sake of others in the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge, a new addition in 2010.

Scotiabank United Way Rat Race
The Greater Toronto community takes to the streets in support of the United Way of Toronto, for the Scotiabank Rat Race in June. Scurrying 5k through the downtown core, this run is followed by the 'Big Cheese' party back at Scotia Plaza. Participants are encouraged to don their best rat-inspired costume and raise money for a variety of important charities.

Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon & 5K
Join us this year for the annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5k Run/Walk. Known as Canada's most scenic Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk, in 2009 more than 5000 participants ran past beaches and mountains and finished in Vancouver's Stanley Park. Participants in this event are given the unique opportunity to fundraise for charities in the community as part of the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge. Come run with us!

Scotiabank Buskerfest
Join in the fun at Scotiabank Buskerfest, a collection of the most entertaining street performers in the world. For four days in August, watch as Toronto's St. Lawrence market comes alive, bringing the thrill of world class street theatre to spectators and visitors. Come out and experience the performances of comedians, contortionists, musicians, magicians, sword swallowers, fire jugglers, acrobats, aerial artists and more! Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life
Canada's most important HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness event is the annual Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life. Throughout the event, cities and communities across the country will host Walks to raise funds for local services and programs to assist those who are living with, affected by or are at risk for HIV/AIDS. In 2009, over 45 communities participated in the Walk and raised $2.8 million for community based AIDS Service Organizations. Join us this year for the Walk that will do us good.

Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
With more than 19,000 athletes and participants from 35 countries worldwide including our own Scotiabank Marathon Kids, The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon is one of North America's most exciting and rapidly growing running events. This year, celebrate the 21st anniversary of The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon and its accompanying half marathon and 5K. Take part in the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge - which raised a record $2.4 million in 2009, and help support more than 90 community charities.

Cavalcade of Lights, Presented by Scotiabank
The Cavalcade of Lights, presented by Scotiabank at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square, features 300,000 sparkling lights, a spectacular 50 foot Christmas tree, concerts and fireworks.
