Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal
Support a great cause and run in the Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal, an international calibre half-marathon and associated 5 km race. The race is part of the Canadian Half Marathon Championships and encourages fundraising for charities as part of the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge, which works to support local communities in Quebec and across the country. CONTACT Toronto Photography Festival & The Scotiabank Scholarship
See photos come to life at the annual CONTACT Photography Festival - a month long festival of photography taking place at over 200 venues across the Greater Toronto Area from May 1 - 31. As the largest photography festival in the world, CONTACT has become a premiere cultural event in Toronto with a broad range of international programming. For the second year, Scotiabank is proud to partner with Magnum Photos and CONTACT. Scotiabank will be financing five scholarships for Canadian photography students to attend the Magnum Workshop Toronto at CONTACT from May 4 - 9, 2009.

Scotiabank Blue Nose International Marathon
The Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon and race weekend is the largest running event in Eastern Canada. Offering something for runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels, the three day event includes six unique race categories along a scenic route in downtown Halifax. This year, take part in the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge and support a variety of Atlantic Canada based community groups and charities.

Tour de PEI
Scotiabank is the presenting sponsor of Prince Edward Island's Women's Cyclist Elite Tour, The Tour de PEI. This international cycling event is a five-stage tour held in June and includes a time trial event on the Confederation Bridge, which links the provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. Scotiabank United Way Rat Race
The Greater Toronto community takes to the streets in support of the United Way of Toronto, for the Scotiabank Rat Race in June. Scurrying 5k through the downtown core, this run is followed by the 'Big Cheese' party back at Scotia Plaza. Participants are encouraged to don their best rat-inspired costume and raise money for a variety of important charities.

Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon & 5K
Join us this year for the annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5k Run/Walk. Known as Canada's most scenic Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk, in 2008 more than 4,500 participants ran past beaches and mountains and finished in Vancouver's Stanley Park. Participants in this event are given the unique opportunity to fundraise for charities in the community as part of the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge. Come run with us!

Scotiabank Buskerfest
For four days every August, a collection of the most entertaining street performers in the world gather in Toronto's St. Lawrence market, bringing the thrill of world class street theatre to spectators and visitors. Come out and experience the performances of comedians, contortionists, musicians, magicians, sword swallowers, fire jugglers, acrobats, aerial artists and more! Admission is by donation in support of Epilepsy Toronto.

Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life
Canada's most important HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness event is the annual Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life. Throughout the event, cities and communities across the country will host Walks to raise funds for local services and educational programming in an effort to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS. In 2008, over 55 communities participated in the Walk and raised close to $2 million for community based AIDS Service Organizations. Join us this year for the Walk that will do us good.
