Overview

Ignition is a 24-month performance-oriented rotation program designed to challenge and expose Associates to different teams across Technology. Each rotation will support Associates in building and acquiring new skills and uncover what interests them the most in their careers. The program is designed to develop our associates to become future leaders in the Technology space at Scotiabank.

This program is a steppingstone for careers in DevOps, Software Development, Agile Management, Design Thinking, Business Analysis, among others. Responsibilities and accountabilities may include data management, software development and design, network testing, database design, management and administration of entire systems. Some of the most common technologies and frameworks include Java, Spring, Microservices, React and DevOps. Working conditions could include working in Scrums following an Agile Methodology or Full-stack development.
