I think that sometimes it's easy to let things slide unless you attach a concrete goal to it. For example, with some people maybe it's easier for them to think in terms of establishing RRSPs and things like that if they've got an image in their mind of retiring and being able to go to the cottage.

Ah, I would say the last ten to fifteen years it really started to hit home that I was going to have to do something. You know I've seen too many people not do it and… and I don't want to a poor old lady living on her own in some little apartment somewhere… you know!? I think I'm well prepared. I just turned sixty and uh it's been tough the last few years, especially when I was unemployed for a couple of years, but I'm back on schedule and I think I'll be fine.

Well of course, the first thing is that, you point out yourself, is start early. I mean get your money into RRSPs and things like that because they're really worthwhile.

There's lots of things that you really need good advice from financial people to help you make the right decision before you've made the wrong decision.

Yes, I think we all worry about money in the middle of the night. Umm… You worry that you might spend too much and not be careful.
