Scotiabank Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups (or ERGs) are groups of Scotiabankers who share a common interest, background or goal. They are the grassroots voice of our people, amplifying our diversity. ERGs provide a way to connect with others, share experiences and discuss issues that are important to you. They’re also an excellent way to network with Scotiabankers who you might not typically meet.
Scotiabank employees have the opportunity to join one of our 10 Employee Resource Groups:
Made up of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, this group raises awareness and support for Aboriginal culture at Scotiabank. They also provide support for Aboriginal employees and strengthen connections between the Bank, employees and the Aboriginal community.
Members of this ERG are committed to showcasing the potential, creativity, history and culture of Caribbean people. The group also promotes activities that positively contribute to Scotiabank, the Caribbean community and the countries in which Scotiabank does business.
The China Banking Forum is a business-focused employee network that shares an interest in Chinese business, politics, economy and culture. Through their knowledge, experience, and professional development, they are a resource for supporting business activities in China and Asia.
Raising the voice of people with disabilities, the Diversability Alliance works to educate others, influence change and promote accessibility. You’ll help champion a culture in which people of all abilities, can participate fully at Scotiabank.
Supporting a workplace that welcomes diversity and embraces all cultures is what the Scotiabank Intercultural Alliance is all about. This group helps raise cultural awareness so that Scotiabankers can effectively communicate, understand and respectfully interact with people of all cultures.
The HOLA Scotiabank group is for employees who are enthusiastic about Latin culture. This group provides valuable information and serves as a key resource when seeking Latin market expertise.
Promoting mental health as part of the corporate culture is this group’s mission. Members are committed to ending the stigma around mental illness by increasing awareness and understanding about mental health issues.
Scotiabank Pride is a welcoming group that fosters an inclusive environment where employees, customers and allies of the LGBT+ community feel safe, valued and respected.

The Scotiabank Young Professionals group is meant for anyone new to Scotiabank.
