Scotiabank’s Inclusion Council sets the strategy and tone from the top. Chaired by Barbara Mason, Group Head and Chief Human Resources Officer, the Inclusion Council is made up of senior executives who are passionate about driving inclusion at the Bank. They demonstrate inclusivity through their thoughtful leadership and everyday actions.

The Council’s main objectives are to:

  • Monitor, promote and demonstrate a culture of inclusion and diversity of perspective for better business results.
  • Embed diversity and inclusion in strategic business initiatives.
  • Enhance leadership development that promotes open-mindedness and cross-cultural awareness.
