ADT Korea is the second largest security services provider in South Korea. It is comprised of three units:

  1. ADT Caps, which provides central monitoring
  2. Capstec, which offers and manages security personnel
  3. ADT Security, which sells security-related retail products

The Company incorporated in 1971 as the first private security company in the country. ADT Korea was acquired by Tyco in 1999. Scotiabank Private Equity co-invested in ADT Korea alongside Carlyle Asia in 2014.

Headquartered in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Axalta operates 26 manufacturing sites globally and employs approximately 11,000 workers. Scotiabank Private Equity invested in Axalta alongside Carlyle Group in 2013. In November 2014, Axalta was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: AXTA).

Headquartered in Amsterdam, BvD employs over 650 people in 33 offices across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Scotiabank Private Equity invested in BvD alongside EQT Partners in 2014.

Giant Interactive is a leading online game developer in China. The Company develops PC-based, multiplayer Action Role-Playing Games (ARPG) played in cyberspace. Founded in 2004, Giant launched its first in-house developed game, ZT1, in 2006. The Company currently offers 13 online games with a total of 2.3 million active paying users. Scotiabank Private Equity invested in Giant Interactive alongside Baring Asia in 2014.

RAC is the second largest provider of roadside automotive assistance services to individuals and corporate partners in the UK. It’s also the fifth largest motor insurance broker and one that also offers legal/post-accident claim services.Founded in 1897, RAC is an iconic and trusted brand in the UK with high national recognition. Carlyle Europe acquired RAC from Aviva plc, one of the largest insurance companies in the UK. Scotiabank Private Equity invested in RAC alongside Carlyle Europe in 2011.
