    Scotia InfoAlerts sends you an email, text message or both when important account activity happens. Just choose what type of information you want to track.

    Easy and Quick to set up

    1. Sign in to Scotia OnLine
    2. Click the blue "Scotia InfoAlerts" link located below the "Manage My Accounts" heading on the right-hand side of the page.
    3. Click the blue "Alerts" link.
    4. Then follow the on-screen instructions to select the InfoAlerts you want to get.

    We offer several types of Scotia InfoAlerts for you to choose from. Select as many or as few as you want for no monthly fee!

    Balance Alerts

    Track your balance and get an Scotia InfoAlert when:

    • Your account balance goes above or below a specific amount.
    • You receive an Interac e-Transfer
    • Your account is in overdraft
    • You’re close to your credit limit

    You can even get your account balance on a daily or weekly basis.


    Security Alerts

    Find out when funds are withdrawn from your account due to:

    • ABM withdrawals
    • Cleared cheques
    • Interac debit transactions
    • Interac e-Transfers
    • Western Union Money Transfers
    • Bill payments

    Keep an eye on your Scotiabank credit card or line of credit and get alerted when:

    • A purchase exceeds a limit you’ve chosen
