Scotiabank Partners with Bahamian Contractors' Association

SCOTIABANK JOINS BCA TO HOST FIRST EVER CONTRACTORS TRUCK STOP

Nassau, The Bahamas, December 10, 2015 – Scotiabank today announced its sponsorship of the Bahamian Contractors' Association's first ever 'Contractors Truck Stop.' The inaugural event will take place on tomorrow, Friday, December 11, 2015, at Arawak Cay from 4 to 9 p.m. All persons and businesses associated with the construction industry are invited to attend the event.

According to BCA President, Leonard Sands, the association saw the need to bring all the various entities related to the construction industry together to network, share best practices and build relationships. "Forging deeper relationships with the commercial banks is crucial to the ongoing success of our industry and we are very grateful that Scotiabank has partnered with us to host this event."

The Bank's Director of Retail Banking, Dwight Burrows, made the presentation on behalf of Scotiabank. Burrows explained, "At Scotiabank, we are committed to deepening relationships with our customers and improving the service experience. Partnering with the BCA is a win-win opportunity for both organizations as they represent a significant customer base and are key partners to the home ownership process. We look forward to leveraging this partnership and working closer together in the future."
